Bob concentrates his practice in the general corporate area, including commercial transactions, e-commerce, real estate, employment practices and insurance law. He represents various corporations and entrepreneurial clients.
Mr. Bramlette spent 17 years as an executive with Sears, Roebuck and Co. where he held several legal and management positions. While serving as Assistant General Counsel for Real Estate, he was involved in the Sears Tower mortgage restructuring, sale of the Homart regional mall portfolio, the development of the Hoffman Estates business park, development of a 1031 like kind exchange program, sales and purchases of real estate, and leasing transactions. He was also the Director of Corporate Communications where he was responsible for drafting speeches for the Chairman and designing communications programs for proxy contests, corporate restructurings and IPOs.
After leaving Sears, Bob was the chief legal officer and secretary of Leapnet, Inc., a NASDAQ listed e-business company where he was responsible for various legal and business issues including those involving the initial public offering; a stock repurchase program; agreements for the purchases, sale and leasing of corporate real estate; and the acquisition and sale of private companies. In addition, Mr. Bramlette handled various matters including SEC compliance, insider trading and fair disclosure policies; and e-commerce, software development and advertising contracts. He also managed employee issues including employment contracts and confidentiality agreements, employee stock option and stock purchase programs, EEOC claims, and various boards of directors and investor relations communications.
